    2. I bought this for my daughter. She uses Skype to keep up with her friends and do sixth grade homework. A bit disappointed in Windows Seven Starter software. Limited in scope, an 80 upgrade adds flexibility. Not needed now, but will soon. Should have disclosed that.

This compact unit does what it is advertised, but Windows 7 Starter is to stripped down. You can,t even change the wallpaper.

    4. This netbook works great. Runs smooth, fast, and has a long battery life. Definitely worth the $300.

I bought this for my 11 year-old stepson for Christmas. He loves it & so do I. It’s got all the basics in a sturdy, compact package. This was the best deal on netbooks I found – even after Black Friday was over.
